The mental one, where all worries remain at the starting point.

Rayss asks about the purpose of reconstructing historical events, especially those related to wars and also about patriotic attitudes created in this way. Lewandowski focuses on presenting a photographic study of the architecture of the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp, allowing to see cruel intentions to rationalize architecture intended for killing. A wide-ranging plan as well as methods being one of the achievements of modernism, which assumed a positive impulse for the development of humanity, became a tool contributing to the title decline of all modern values.

In his works, Adam Wilkoszarski focuses on discovering places that can change from crowded people to empty and abandoned spaces. It focuses on the disappearing border between the public and private sphere and often crossing this border.
Adam Wilkoszarski (born in 1986) is a Polish documentary and landscape photographer, he lives and works in Poznań.

What do we know about Algeria? What do we associate with it? For many of us, Algeria is a puzzle, a land known from Albert Camus’ book pages. We also associate it with dramatic news from news sites. But for some Algeria is also a memory of youth, first friendships and love, a place lost in a sense, but also a dream – this is the vision of Algeria in his first book by Tytus Grodzicki.
